Add the look and feel of the iPhone to WMP

WMP iPhone Skin is a simple skin for Windows Media that will make the Microsoft player to seem like an Apple's iPhone.

To install WMP iPhone Skin you only have to download the zip file and copy the contained files in the folder where Windows Media Player is installed (usually Program files/Windows Media Player). Once you have copied them, you will be able to choose the skin from options / skins in the program.

WMP iPhone Skin allows you to add the look and feel of the beloved iPhone and add bigger buttons to the media player, so it will be easier to play your multimedia files.

iPhone has been a revolution and, as usual, we see how interfaces emulating new visual experiences appear on scene. Here we see a really well designed interface that emulates that one offered by the Apple creature.

iFonz is the name given to this iPhone-like interface that will make your main screen to seem an iPhone. An Apple intruder in Microsoft's territory.

[Installation]

- Extract CAB and install on Pocket PC

- Soft Reset Pocket PC

[How to]

- To open General Settings Tap and Hold on background

- To open Icon Settings Tap and Hold on desired icon

- To enable/disable Windows Startup open General Settings and check/uncheck the option

- To save/load Themes and settings Tap and Hold on Battery and click on Themes->Load/Save and choose the file

- To minimize Tap and Hold on Battery in the main screen and click on minimize

- To view all Pocket PC status info Tap and Hold on Battery in the main screen and go to Status menu

- To exit click on battery in the main screen

- To add shortcut to a folder in the command line use “windowsfexplore.exe” and in the argument set the folder path

- If iFonz close when hit the “Red Button” after a call, assign a specific button of your PPC for restart it, set it in PPC settings

- If your Pocket PC is old or slow go to General Settings and disable all Special Effects and set Animation to “Nothing”

- If you do a lot of changes in General Settings and iFonz become slow, restart it

Upgrade Atom Exec to WM 6.1 Proffesional

Akhirnya kesampean juga keinginan punya PDA yg ga dapet-dapet dari dulu coz harganya yang selangit, sekarang udah murah meskipun cuma second tp udah cukup puas lah hehehehe...
Pilihan jatuh kepada atom exec, meskipun udah lumayan lama keluarnya tapi PDA ini masih powerfull, prosesornya pake intel xscale 520mhz dirasa cukup untuk mengakomodasi pemakaian sehari-hari. Penyakitnya sih sama aja ma PDA2 yg laen, yakni borosnya batrei.

Habis dapet barangnya gatel juga tangan ni liat WM 5 pro bawaan si Atom Exec apalagi aplikasi FB ga bisa masuk karena hanya diperuntukkan WM 6 saja. akhirnya setelah surfing sana sini saya dapet jga ROM WM 6.1 by TJ with vanilla 2D (tampilan touchflo punya HTC). Menurut beberapa forum yang saya baca, ROM ini adalah update yang paling baru dan stabil untuk Atom Exec dan lebih cepat daripada WM 5 bawaan Atom sendiri.

Latest WM 6.1 CE and OS 21051 based Manila 2D in black color AND is Very Fast please try. It has set volume and other stuff that was included by Jaime in his M2D in Blue.
The ROM is based on Jaime's Blue M2D (ALL Credit Goes to Him, Thanks Jaime MAN) and has been modded by me in BLACK. Included are:-

• Black M2D Theme by eboelzner
• M2DC (Manila 2D Customizer) by Mpenguin 14 V 0.28.233.
• Set Volume.
• Black Communication Managaer
• PIM backup
• Reg Logger
• Mobile Monger
• Finger Suite (New)

Berikut saya bagikan ROM tersebut dan beserta tutorial bagaimana cara upgradenya.

1. Download ROM nya di sini.
2. Pastikan anda sudah menginstal microsoft active synch yang terbaru (saat ini versi 4.5) dalam komputer anda
3. tancapkan kabel data dan Exec ke usb, tunggu sampai tersambung sempurna
   
4. Extrak ROM yang anda download tadi, anda akan menemukan 6 buah file didalamnya, copykan ke enam file tersebut kedalam folder C:\WINDOWS\Temp
5. Jalankan dengan mengeklik file Device Software Update Utility.exe
6. Pilih OS+Extended ROM lalu klik next, biarkan semua proses berjalan secara otomatis sampai selesai. Jangan menggangu proses ini atau menjalankan program lainnya, jangan sampai komputer anda mati saat proses berlangsung karena bisa beresiko PDA anda matot.
7. Setelah selesai maka PDA akan restart sendiri dan akan booting dengan tampilan baru, tunggu sampai semua selesai dan anda masuk setting wizard
8. silakan disetting dulu sesuai keinginan anda lalu tap ok
9. akan ada beberapa notifikasi penginstalan software tambahan untuk memaksimalkan PDA, instal semuanya dengan komplit, bila ada peringatan untuk soft reset abaikan saja sampai semua software terinstal semua. Bila anda mereset PDA sebelum instalasi selesai semua maka istalasi tidak akan sempurnajadi tunggu sampai semua terinstal baru di soft reset
10. Selesai, kini Exec anda sudah berubah menjadi WM 6.1 Pro+ HTC touch flo.
